Well, Rob talked me into starting big. He says "let's pop off a century" Sure, why not. Been at Camp Steiner for 3 days, 10,400 feet, no sleep, 8 scouts, I am sure I will feel great. Did feel pretty good. Averaged just under 23mph for the first 30 miles into Montpelier, ID. Good to be on LOTOJA course. Climbed to Geneva Summit, got smoked by Rob, crushed my soul. Must now re-double effort. Rob has had a great early season, up over 1500 miles, tracking his effort in doughnuts burned. Good stuff. Let's say I was not at 100% and now owe Rob about 80 miles of "pull." Did not get to the century, but a good dent in my goal.
